More than just a race, the Wurst Race is a fundraising event sponsored by the Alumni & Supporters, Inc., dedicated to supporting Sacred Heart Catholic School in Muenster, Texas. The proceeds contribute to reducing tuition costs for students, as well as fulfilling various needs such as building maintenance, textbooks, and athletic expenses. Established in 1890, Sacred Heart Catholic School is a coeducational institution spanning preschool through grade 12, known for its commitment to excellence.
Participants in the half marathon will receive a coveted finisher’s medal, and soft T-shirts, available in sizes Adult Small to 3XL, await all 5K and half marathon participants.
