As many as 5,000 runners and walkers take to the streets of Kalamazoo each May for this race, which takes participants on a winding, out-and-back route through the city streets of Kalamazoo, through the campus of Borgess Medical Center and around the shores of Spring Valley Lake.

Course Description
Runners follow a winding, out-and-back route for the Kalamazoo Marathon’s Borgess Half Marathon, which starts and finishes on the campus of Nazareth College, and features three bridge crossings over the Kalamazoo River. From there, runners make their way along Kalamazoo city streets and park pathways, through the campus of Borgess Medical Center and around the shores of Spring Valley Lake inside the city’s 185-acre Spring Valley Park.
