From the half-marathon start in Waco’s Indian Springs Park, in the shadow of Waco’s signature suspension bridge, the course takes runners alongside the banks of the Brazos River for the first mile before continuing north through Cameron Park (including a stint inside the Cameron Park Zoo). The race then makes a loop around nearby McLennan Community College and returns through the park, crossing the Brazos River near mile 11 to run the trail alongside the river for the remainder of the race.
