The annual Beachfront Run Half Marathon 10k 5k & Kid’s Run is held as a benefit by City Impact for at-risk children, youth, and families in Ventura County.
Celebrating its 13th running in 2023, this flat and scenic out-and-back race highlights the beauty of Ventura’s coastline and takes runners along a portion of California’s legendary Pacific Coast Highway.
All races begin on the north side of the Ventura Pier and proceed along the oceanfront promenade. After 5k runners split off to turn back to the finish line, the half marathon and 10k routes continue along the Pacific Coast Highway.
As you take in the sights of scenic coastline and pristine beaches, you don’t have to rush your half marathon. The course offers a generous 4-hour time limit, making it a friendly race for walkers and first-time runners.
For those who can’t attend in person but would like to run in spirit, virtual options are available for all races.
