Welcome to the Cloudland Canyon 50k and Half Marathon full weekend event located in Rising Fawn. Scenic Views, PR Chasers, Trail Runners. While the race takes place during the beginning of December, the course itself remains a scenic one, journeying runners through what’s often called “the land of waterfalls” within Cloudland Canyon State Park.

Course Description
Withstanding its beauty, the course also happens to be quite flat and fast, making it an ideal course for those looking to PR to finish off the year strong. Paired with jaw-dropping views of waterfalls and emphatic valleys, what more could you ask for? As mentioned, this half marathon race takes place in Cloudland Canyon State Park, designed in a lollipop-like fashion along Sutton Gulch Creek and Daniel Creek. The race will start and end in the same location. While runners will see about 2300 feet of elevation, the trail itself is largely flat and fast. With registration, all participants will receive a commemorative pint glass as well as a winter beanie. Regarding the race itself, all runners will have a total of 4.5 hours to complete the race, starting at 9:30 and ending at 2:00 pm.
