The Dark Horse Race Series, held in Tryon, North Carolina, features a Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K. The event is held in the sprawling 200 acres of the Tryon Equestrian Center, surrounded by the Blue Ridge Mountains. From easy walks to challenging hikes, the trails lead to scenic vistas, waterfalls, and forests. Registrants get a finisher medal, photos, bib, crew socks, and stickers. The after party has raffles and awards at the equestrian center.
