Joshua Tree Half Marathon

While the course itself is well-marked, it remains the runner’s responsibility to ensure that they navigate it properly. Challenging, this course takes runners through the Mojave Desert near Copper Mountain.
Starting at the Joshua Tree Lake RV & Campground, runners head down Sunfair Road. It’s then onto the dirt roads which comprise the majority of the course. With several climbs and rolling hills throughout, runners will ultimately reach Mt. Shasta Avenue before turning onto Sonora Road.
From there, it’s a downhill to the finish line.
As a waste-free race, runners are required to bring their own reusable water bottles for fillup throughout the course. Ex​​clusive Joshua Tree Marathon merchandise will be available both at the race expo and near the finish line! When possible,
