Welcome to the 45th Annual Pumpkin Run Half Marathon, 10k, & 5k by Senior Coastriders in beautiful Half Moon Bay, California; a popular tradition in Half Moon Bay for many years.

All proceeds will benefit Senior Coastsiders, a local non-profit dedicated to providing opportunities, support and resources for older adults living on the coast.

Scenic Views. Overlooking the Pacific Ocean, this scenic half-marathon course takes runners through beautiful coastline trails in Half Moon Bay, California during the month of October.

Half Moon Bay is known for being a scenic coastline city situated right on the Pacific Ocean just miles from San Fransisco.

Starting at 7:15 a.m. the half-marathon course The Half Marathon route closely mirrors the 5k/10k course, with a few unique twists. After the 10k turnaround point, the Half Marathon runners head north towards Mirada Road. Once they reach Mirada, participants will make a U-turn and retrace their steps, heading south until they reach Poplar Street. From there, they’ll venture into Wavecrest. At Wavecrest, participants will again turn around, this time at the end of Redondo Beach Road. They’ll retrace their route back to Poplar Street. Continuing past Poplar Street, they’ll follow the Coastal Trail to the north, leading them to Kelly State Beach. At Kelly State Beach, they’ll rejoin the 5K/10K courses, making a left turn on Kelly, a right turn on Potter, and another left onto Miramontes, ultimately returning to Hatch Elementary. With six aid stations throughout, this course is well-stocked for fueling and hydration. With mixed terrain, runners are encouraged to come equipped with the appropriate running attire. Several packet pickup opportunities are available for your convenience.
