Continuing a March tradition here in Tucson, Arizona, the Tucson Shamrock Half Marathon is entering its seventh annual year on offer; a great early-season race event to warm up you legs for larger events ahead. Starting and ending in Silverbell District Park, this out-and-back course takes runners through dedicated paved trails with tree cover and desert park views throughout. As for Tucson itself, it’s an incredible city to explore before and after the race is complete. As the second biggest city in Arizona only to Phoenix, there’s tons to see and do, from big city exploration to mountainous adventures and beyond.

Course Description
Starting at the Crossroads at Silverbell District Park on 7548 N Silverbell Road, runners will remain on the same trail for the duration of the race, crossing Twin Peaks Road near the fifth kilometer, turning right at Coachline Blvd., and turning around to chase the finish line at Avra Valley Road. Accompanied by a custom finisher’s medal, your choice of a custom shirt, and a post-race runners brunch, that’s only the tip of the iceberg when it comes to the event itself. Providing runners with four (4) hours to complete the course, and with nine aid stations throughout, the Tucson Shamrock Half Marathon provides all you need in order to finish the race safely and successfully.
