Taking place on an out-and-back straight course on paved trails, this event begins on Skunk Creek Trail and turns onto New River Trail at mile two (2). Remaining on New River Trail for the majority of the race, runners will cross West Thunderbird Road after mile three (3). Onward, it’s a crossing over West Bell Road before turning around to head back in the opposite direction along New River Trail. Ultimately, runners will turn left for a short period before reaching the finish line back where they started. Providing runners with four (4) hours to complete the course, the Arizona Half Marathon is well within an achievable range for most fitness levels. With a 700-participant limit, eager runners will want to sign-up asap before the limit gets sold out! If you’re one of the lucky 700 participants, you can expect a custom race event t-shirt, a complimentary post-race brunch, and of course, a custom finisher’s medal to commemorate the accomplishment.
